This fragrance was created in 1981 by perfumer Pierre Bourdon. It all started with a tour by designer Yves Saint Laurent in Greece, where he could see the most famous sculptures of Greek classicism. Kouros (which gave its name to the fragrance), an emblem of Greek virility and the beauty canons of that era, with perfect proportions and defined muscles, caught his attention in detail. It was at that moment that he decided to honor that fascinating world with a perfume.

Its notes, all very special, create a unique combination aimed at evoking the natural scent of a man, using ingredients as exclusive as absinthe, coriander, frost, honey, and vanilla, among the most prominent.
