Kouros by Yves Saint Laurent is an “Eau de Toilette” for men belonging to the Aromatic Fougère family. It is a creation inspired by the gods of Ancient Greece and represents the strength and virility that characterized them. Strong men, willing to conquer and who greatly enjoy body care.

This fragrance was created in 1981 by perfumer Pierre Bourdon. It all started with a trip by designer Yves Saint Laurent to Greece, where he was able to see the most famous sculptures of Greek classicism. Kouros (which gave its name to the fragrance) caught his attention in particular, an emblem of Greek virility and the beauty standards of the time, with perfect proportions and defined muscles. It was at this moment that he decided to pay tribute to that fascinating world with a perfume.

Its notes, all very special, create a unique combination that aims to evoke the natural scent of man, using ingredients as unique as wormwood, coriander, sage, honey, and vanilla, among the most notable.
