A JOURNEY THROUGH THE NILE ISLANDS

Un jardin A sur le nil by Hermès is a unisex "Eau de toilette" with floral and fruity notes, and belongs to the Hermès garden perfume collection. It is the second addition to this family and tells a magical journey along the banks of the Nile River in India, inviting us to appreciate all the exotic aromas that coexist there.

This fragrance was launched in 2005 by Jean-Claude Ellena. The renowned perfumer moved to the Nile garden islands in Aswan (Egypt), where he was inspired by its unique vegetation, the waters of the Nile River, and the sandy heat of the world’s largest desert: the Sahara. Thus, reflecting in this perfume the unique and unrepeatable feeling of experiencing so many natural beauties for the first time.

Its top notes feature carrot, grapefruit, tomato, and green mango—fresh notes with a slight fruity touch that slowly blend with the predominant floral notes of orange, peony, bellflower, hyacinth, and lotus flower; finally, the light of the olfactory cycle touches the woods and spices: labdanum, iris, cinnamon, musk, and incense.

WESTERN EXOTICISM. The perfumer focuses on exotic aromas exclusive to the characteristic landscapes of the West.

A WATER-INSPIRED PACKAGING. The bottle of this fragrance follows the same lines as the previous ones in the collection, only changing the gradient color at the bottom. On this occasion, they chose an intense blue color, symbolizing the deep waters of the river.
